Jon Bon Jovi - Please Come Home for Christmas Lyrics
Bells will be ringing the glad, glad news
Oh what a christmas to have the blues
My babys gone (my babys gone) I have no friends
To wish me greetings once again
Choirs will be singing silent night
Those christmas carols by candlelight
Please come home for christmas (please come home)
Please come home for christmas (please come home)
If not for christmas by new years night
Friends and relations send salutations
Just as sure as the stars shine above (yes they do)
This is christmas, christmas my dear
The time of year to be with the one that you love
Then wont you tell me, youll never more roam
Christmas and new year (christmas and new years)
Will find you at home
Therell be no more sorrow, no grief or pain
Ill be happy (happy) that its christmas once again
Jon Bon Jovi - Please Come Home for Christmas Review
“Please Come Home for Christmas” was released 1994, it includes Please Come Home For Christmas from ‘A Very Special Christmas 2′ as well as “Back Door Santa” and “I Wish Every Day Could Be Like Christmas” from the first A Very Special Christmas album. For unknown reasons, “Back Door Santa” was replaced on later pressings of the first ‘A Very Special Christmas with I Wish Every Day Could Be Like Christmas.
While tracks two and three were credited as Bon Jovi (the band) on the first A Very Special Christmas, track one is credited as Jon Bon Jovi (the solo artist) on the ‘A Very Special Christmas 2′ album.
When these songs were release as this three track single in 1994 (two years after the release of ‘A Very Special Christmas 2″), it was released as being from Bon Jovi (the band).
The cover art pictures Jon Bon Jovi in an intimate embrace and near kiss with Cindy Crawford. A video for the song was also made that features Cindy Crawford.
